“We need to be allowed to convince ourselves that we’re more than the mistakes we made yesterday. That we are all of our next choices, too, all of our tomorrows.”

I’m not sure how he does it, but Fredrik Backman has left me speechless, AGAIN. His ability to write about humanity – our flaws, hopes & dreams… it’s so beautiful. It leaves me in tears every single time. This story is about a crime that never took place, and strangers who come together and realize that they have more in common than they could ever imagine. Anxiety is something so many of us have to cope with every single day. Backman has the ability to make his characters so relatable that, as a reader, you’re comforted by their interactions and words of advice. If you haven’t read any Backman’s yet – you’ll quickly realize that you feel included in the novel as you are reading. 💛

I’ve been anticipating this release for MONTHS; so the fact that it was chosen as a @bookofthemonth made me ecstatic. I’ve been a member now for a year and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made! Link in our bio for a discounted first month 🎉

QOTD: Have you read any Backman novels yet?? A Man Called Ove is one of our FAVORITES! But, so is Beartown 😍
