As we near the end of October (how the eff did THAT happen…🀯) I can’t help but begin to reflect on my 2020 reads. was one of our of the WHOLE year. If you haven’t checked it out, definitely try to squeeze it in before the new year! πŸŽƒ

In a Philadelphia neighborhood infected with an opioid crisis, there are two sisters who are on completely different sides of the street. Kacey is an addict while Mickey is a police officer. When Kacey goes missing at the same time as local murders start happening in town, Mickey becomes obsessed with finding answers, even if in means risking it all. The story switches between present day and the sisters’ childhood which kept me hanging on every single word. We seriously couldn’t put this book down. 🚨🚨🚨

PSA: Guilty pleasure every fall are these adorable cookies. Anyone else devour the box in one sitting??? Asking for a friend??? πŸŽƒπŸ˜‚πŸ
